The Thrift Den is a circular initiative on campus for sustainable fashion. All clothing donations come from the UConn community. Members of the UConn community can then “shop” for one free item a week. Thrift Den hosts sewing workshops and sewing hours.
We create handmade quilts for babies and toddlers who are newcomers to the U.S. or facing hardship. No sewing experience is needed, just your time, creativity, and care.
Visit a safe and non-judgmental space to talk about anything related to alcohol, cannabis, and other substance use-whether it’s for yourself or someone you care about. Peer educators are students just like you, trained to provide education, support, and connection to resources on and off-campus.
Have a private conversation with a supportive and non-judgmental facilitator trained to help you explore your use of alcohol or other substances, without feeling any shame or fear of consequence.
Access BASICS through your student health portal by selecting ‘Alcohol and Cannabis Screening’ and then selecting BASICS.
